In the New Testament the word "Church" never refers to a building, but to people. People are the Church, and however much a congregation may love its buildings and delight to share them with others, they are only tools for the job for which we have all been created, which is to worship God through Jesus Christ and to serve him in the world.

Jesus Christ is not just an historical figure, he wants you to meet him in a personal way and through an act of personal faith to trust him as the person who forgives you for the wrong things you have done, thought and said and to commit yourself to him as your Lord.

God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.

Those who come to me I will never turn away.

Come to me all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.
